Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting and/or recognized professional Accounting qualification e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA or MIA
  • Age 35 and below with 2 - 5 years’ relevant working experience
  • Some post qualification experience in accounting, specifically in Statutory and Group reporting in an MNC environment
  • Good knowledge of current accounting standards and their applications with internal control experience

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for monthly accounts closing and review to ensure entries are captured correctly
  • Responsible for budgeting and cash flow for the company
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly Group Reporting and ensure submission deadline is met
  • Prepare monthly Trial Balance and reconciliations for all balance sheet items
  • Prepare Statutory Accounts in compliance with statutory requirements
  • Prepare actual and projected tax computation & inter-company reconciliations, and follow up & resolve outstanding items
  • Establish and maintain control procedures and ensure Group standards are met
  • Provide support for completion of internal and external audit/tax reporting/government returns

SENIOR EXECUTIVE / MANAGER - PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Penang
Requirements

We are an established, Real Estate / Property Management company in search of an experienced Property Manager to expand the department and oversee new projects. The Property Manager will be responsible for and oversee all leasing, marketing, customer service, resident retention, and administrative responsibilities as required daily. We are looking for a seasoned, take charge individual with a strong, hands-on, positive attitude to step into the role as Property Manager and take the reins of this challenging community and staff under the daily direction of upper management.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Possess a Degree in Building Management / Property Management or related field
  • Develop, plan and implement the budget to control the overall financial performance of the property.
  • Handle record keeping and reporting responsibilities inclusive of financial reporting to the corporate office as required.
  • Ensure timely rent collections, rent postings, bank deposits.
  • Ensure the timely handling of late notices, legal filings and evictions on delinquent rents as required. Maintain a minimum collection rate of 95%.
  • Monitor effective cost control procedures to insure budget compliance.
  • Able to work closely with the maintenance team.
  • Oversee and maintain all new lease and lease renewal practices to include the resident selection and approval process.
  • Oversee marketing outreach to include interacting with neighborhood groups and community organizations.
  • Handle resident complaints and interact on all notices to vacate to save as many as possible from moving out.
  • Ensure follow up on new business prospects, new residents, renewals and service requests are handled timely and effectively to maintain resident retention goals.
  • Other responsibilities as required by the Regional Manager or corporate office.

  • Experience with property financials, budgeting, reporting is required.

  • Must possess a strong, take charge personality with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency and experience with basic knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products.
